Unusually Warm Milford Day Coincides with Sun Storm

For all the global warming sceptics out there I placed a Solar activity reader with a UV index to the right and below the banner. This morning I heard that we are going to break records with possibly 80 Degree days here in New England.

For some time I have been saying that these events are symptomatic of the Sun, and today we see the big red "Storm" warning in the Solar observation bar. For those of you are unfamiliar with solar storms and how they effect the temperature of "Mother Earth" should start tracking the coincidences like I have.

Now I will be the first to say that I am not an climatologist, but I have learned enough from climategate to realize that Al Gore and his "energy thugs" cannot be trusted much either. Call me old fashioned but I learned in grammar school that the Sun is what heats the planet, not the tail pipe on my car.

Certainly the gig is not up on this issue, because the Al Gore agenda is hitting Congress hard. The End Game is to enact a Carbon Tax, smart meters, and all kinds of new socialist programs aimed at revoking the liberties we currently enjoy.

A Radical proponent in California suggested that the government should control your thermostat to save energy, they also tried to outlaw big plasma televisions and routine vandalism of gas guzzling SUV's is commonplace by the angry "Greenies" who feel that that their point of view is the factual one.

For all you out there who are still confused I suggest you watch the Jessy Ventura Climate Conspiracy video that was recently on TruTV. The documentary is an "Eye Opening" unveiling of how carbon credits will make Al Gore and several of his UN advocates overnight Billionaires at the expense of the U.S. Constitution.

The entire implementation plan is based on falsified science and is predicated on the fact that good people will surrender their freedom to save the world.

Above photo of a solar storm with superheated solar wind traveling toward Earth. These charged particles are known to wreak havoc on electronics and energy grids. The Earths Van Allen Belt a electromagnetic field deflects X-Rays aways from earth, but not UV Light. Today's UV Index is HIGH.

Taking Blog Break Until Monday. Happy Easter

Dear readers, sometimes strange footsteps can appear in the soft muddy ground. When these very large and unidentifyable footprints emerge, there is always an explanation beyond Big Foot, Aliens, the New Jersey Devil or Chupacabras.

Happy Easter to all you bunny monster hunters!

Independents in Milford Establish a Town Committee.

On February 22, 2010 a group of local Milford residents met to discuss the likely hood of establishing an Independent Town Committee. The group heard discussions from Mike Telesca the agent of the State Independent Party and the thoughts of many local residents.

Those who attended the meeting were somber, and humble, but courageous enough to face the challenging odds of an “underdog party getting off the ground.” In a unanimous vote all 20 attendees voted to establish a third party in Milford. This new party, unlike its MIP predecessor, will follow the same laws as the two other major parties.

The Independent Party of Milford has consolidated its membership from the former MIP and the Independent Party. This new party is a larger more organized and dynamic group of passionate individuals.

The new Independent town Committee wasted no time and elected a full slate of officers. The Chairman elect Rocco Frank Jr. was nominated by the committee members. Also nominated were Steven Borer as Vice Chairman, John Grant as Treasurer, and Todd Casey as Secretary.

All the new officers were formerly candidates of the independent party and Milford Independent Party stemming back to 2008.

Rocco Frank the newly elected chairman said that the new organization “will focus on the principles of fair and honest government, as it stands rampant greed and paid politicians are abusing the taxpayer’s pocket books in their favor.” Frank feels that Democrats and Republicans are a disappointment, and the party is a “direct response to a growing number of disenfranchised voters who feel betrayed by Milford’s two party systems.”

The independent party will adopt a conservative platform aimed at eliminating government waste, and most importantly not allowing greed and avarice to result in teacher layoff’s because city jobs were “bonused, stipended, and raised away.”

Frank also challenged Independent party critics, who called the Independents “redundant and lacking in a platform.” Frank said “that there is a clear disconnect with the people, and a contagious epiphany is threatening to expose the tandem tax and spend leadership that has Milford Democrats and Republicans defecting from both parties.

Frank said that he will “keep the Independent party a safe place for good, honest and sincere community leaders to challenge the political quandaries lurking in our city.”

The Milford Independents are expected to begin, voting on and endorsing candidates in the coming weeks and are eagerly preparing for the coming challenges.

Swine Flu Hoax Travels Up To New England

The Swine Flu is a hybrid flu comprised of the avian flu, 2 human flu's, and yes the swine flu. This real warning was issued by the Milford Daily Blog as a MAJOR WORLDWIDE HEALTH WARNING click here to read the article.

So far early reports (exaggerated) indicate scores of individuals are dead and hundreds more infected. The flu had not reached pandemic status but early media concern indicates that there is a good chance that could change with new cases being reported. NYC has 10 children under quarantine who are alleged to be infected with the swine flu. These kids were recently in Cancun Mexico and and returned home back to NY where they developed Flu like symptoms.

Medical experts advised not to take antibiotics in anticipation of an infection but rather take lots of vitamins to boost your immune system. Maj. General Stubblebein the chairman of Health Freedom USA recommends Nanosilver as the best supplement to add to your regimen to boost your immune system. To learn more about Nano Silver google it.

Common sense should also dictate that you avoid unnecessary contact with people, especially those who recently returned from areas where the Infection is known to be active. Reports from Mexico city Hospitals are indicative that scores of people are sick, vomiting, coughing, sneezing as the await the help of an overwhelmed staff.

The Swine Flu that is currently in circulation is also making Conspiracy theorists go bonkers. They cite the excessive number of recent Murders of microbiologists, the Baxter, Bayer, and much other evidence that suggests a clandestine propensity for such a pandemic being politically beneficial to the quelling of a growing concern over public unrest. visit www.infowars.com for reference articles.

Mexico's Felippe Calderon also reported on their Aztek T.V. news that people should not panic as there is a vaccine to cure this disease. Some Dr.'s believe this is an erroneous report because the disease was just discovered hence making a vaccine ahead of the outbreak highly irregular if not unlikely. This report actually indicates that Baxter requested funding to develop the cure and it could take up to three months to cure.

Update: 5/3/09

Some churches in Milford still fearful have suspended the peace offering whereby individuals offer each other a sign of peace by shaking hands, kissing, or embracing a person next to them. Some churches have also suspended the sharing of wine from the chalice during the "offering."

These precautions are purely emblematic, or a pre-emptive deterrent to contagion despite the fact that not one single Swine Flu case thus far has surfaced in our town. Despite the hoax, these infectious diseases are to be taken seriously as the propensity for a pandemic disaster is alarmingly real; even though the current threat is rapidly "losing steam."

If You Care About Milford Start Selling Freedom

Candidate Rocco J. Frank Jr. is the only candidate in the running that supports a constitutional convention. For over a year you have all cried that you want our country back, that the special interests have taken away your rights, your wealth, and injured your family when you had the gall to ask our leaders for a remedy.

Now is the time to come out en-masse, talk to your friends, talk to your neighbors and let them all know that you need them to vote 4E the Independent line for Rocco J. Frank Jr. Frank has promised to fight the special interests in this state, not to empower the very criminals and tyrants that have caused your family anguish.

Special Interests feel that they can tax their way to prosperity, only for the rest of, us who pay those taxes, to succumb to the despotism of foreclosure, business closings, strained marriages, and homes left in disrepair. It is our government, not you, who betrayes, and with this failure at hand we ought to hold our heads up high and take it back just as our constitution demands we do. Vote YES to a Constitutional Convention, and let the people decide all contracts and laws to be just or unjust to us taxpayers.

I trust the people of Milford are smart. I personally met you by the thousands and know you can be trusted. Who cannot be trusted are the hijackers of of our liberty, those who call you too dumb to make a choice. We have rights if we fight for them, our freedom, and our republic are whats at risk and like the pledge of allegiance says, "liberty and justice for all."

This Nov. 4Th lets give 800,000 Connecticut Independents a voice. VOTE 4E ROCCO FRANK for state Representative and lets turn this broken system on its head. Spread the word in these final days.

Market Turmoil Hits Home

The last three days have resulted in stock market losses not seen since September 11Th 2001. With nearly a 11% drop in the Dow Jones in just 72hrs. IRAs, 401ks and just about every Milford stock portfolio felt the shock.

There were lots of people today staring at the markets in complete despair as they assessed their personal losses yet again. This all at a time when everything from energy prices, to property taxes and food costs are on the rise. Making matters worse Milford is now under a credit crunch with 350 active foreclosures on homes whose value have been either stagnant or in danger of a further decline.

The global and American economic situation is dire, and is now hitting home and sobering even the most optimistic people in our town. Finding a safe haven for retirement funds is becoming increasingly difficult as America's once largest banking institutions like Merryl Lynch, AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and Lehman Brothers continue to show signs of distress and failure.

No one knows for certain if we have seen the worst of this economic crisis, but few have even prepared for the potential for negative events that accompany a severe economic situation. A recession is defined as two quarters of back to back negative growth, but what do we call Five or Six or maybe even Ten. Just 18 months ago the Dow Jones was at 12,500 and now it would appear possible that the index could breach the 10,000 mark making our economic misfortune in the coming months potentially worse then the height of the terrorist acts of 9/11.

On Wall street the blame game is in full swing, fear is high, our federal leaders are worried about contagion and a panic that could spread to every sector that is still in somewhat good condition. This is rapidly becoming clear that our brokers and portfolio managers are out of control and are unable to reasonably guarantee the safety and sanctity of any investment that bears even the slightest risk.

The economic climate in town is one of loss, uncertainty, and worst of all a feeling of helplessness in what to do next. Some a while back called for the purchase of Gold others have gone more ominous and advocated for the purchase of food as you cannot eat Gold. It would appear at the moment that all investors are in a bind and are facing some very hard choices.

Flooding In Devon Angers Residents

The Corner of Bridgeport Ave.and Naugatuck Ave. is a pretty wet spot in town. Residents in that area have been coming forward and complaining that their basements are flooding during periods of heavy rain.

The Devon Revitalization committee is taking the heat. Mayor Richetelli and Jim Amann the two most notable committee members have been put on the hot seat. Local residents have stated that the aesthetic improvements have not done much to improve the quality of life of those residents who are affected by the flood rains.

Our state and local leaders assured us flooding action this week. Both Amann and Richetelli indicated that they are aware of the flooding problems and blamed the areas pipes as being old. Richetelli said that these pipes carry away the rain water intended for a 1930's Milford and were not designed for today's neighborhoods. Richetelli also said the city has money for improvements on one street Naugatuck Ave., but the other street Bridgeport ave. is the responsibility of the state. Richetelli said it makes more sense to do both projects at the same time and will be waiting for the state funding before commiting to any work.

Amann on the other hand took to defending the Devon revitalization committee and said that the complainers should have done so prior to the rain problems. Amann said that during his entire tenure as a state rep. he had no idea that flooding was an issue with anyone in Devon.

As it stands this contention between our city and state leaders will experience continued pressure as they are confronted with more angry flood victims after each torrential downpour. Both leaders agree that urgent action is needed and have agreed to put this project on the fast track but not until the state delivers on their end.

The state may also slow down this project with a pre-construction engineering study aimed at figuring out exactly how to abate the flooding waters.

Anyone who wishes to address this problem should direct their concerns to the Milford Flooding and Erosion Control Board.

Social Engineering And Presidential Politics.. If not All Politics.

The two party behemoth's the mythical equivalent of Schylla and Charybdis are working to control your opinion with information carefully studied and crafted to achieve the ultimate objective, the illusion of American Democracy and your vote for one of the two hand picked corporate representatives running for president.

Now Imagine you the the middle class, average Joe worker stressed to the gills just trying to keep your life afloat is sailing into the unknown abyss of Presidential Politics under the chant of our "Ditto" congressmen who like brainless mocking birds repeat the words and logic of their respective parties.

While I am a lover of Bipartisan efforts I could also appreciate a good debate, but what has been achieved in this election is somewhat of a joke. I thought it impossible for our nation to favor a pro-war candidate a year ago, I thought for sure that Americans were fed up with war and hawkish presidents like Bush. Apparently not, because McCain has taken the lead, just as a new fight is brewing between the U.S. and the Soviets.

Do people even know who they want to vote for, and is either candidate a real choice? My point is not to tell people how to vote this election because I personally could care less who wins, I believe that both parties will continue to be equally destructive to the middle class, so effectively I will be considering some other party besides a Republican or Democrat. One other bit to add here I would be happy to lay out a vote of "NO CONFIDENCE" in the state legislature directed at at all three houses in the federal government.

I would also like to remind the readers of this blog, to learn what social engineering is, could it be the illusion of Democracy, a magic trick that makes us all want to vote for another Republican, one dubbed "McSame" as he is one of the most Bush connected politicians in D.C. Perhaps you need to understand exactly what social engineering is.

On a positive note McCain will be great for the Connecticut economy, because here in the nutmeg state we manufacture the hardware necessary to maintain global domination over the world perhaps that is also why the Russians have so many nuclear missiles pointed at Connecticut.

In the event that McCain does get elected and start WW3, we have a lot to think about. Some examples include Submarine Manufacturing in Groton, Helicopters in Stratford, Radar Systems in Norwalk, Space Weapon Satellites in Danbury and lots of other war fodder. Perhaps this is why Joe Lieberman Mr. "Bomb Iran" has been so successful with the military lobby.

If "McSame" does win it will be good for Connecticut and horrible for world peace something to think about next casino trip. The ones that also help pay our bills on the back's of people who think they can win. Photo above could easily be our new state logo.

Connecticut Cops Pre-Emptively Seize Guns

Paul Hughes
Republican-American
August 3, 2008

Using a unique state law, police in Connecticut have disarmed dozens of gun owners based on suspicions that they might harm themselves or others.

The state’s gun seizure law is considered the first and only law in the country that allows the confiscation of a gun before the owner commits an act of violence. Police and state prosecutors can obtain seizure warrants based on concerns about someone’s intentions.

State police and 53 police departments have seized more than 1,700 guns since the law took effect in October 1999, according to a new report to the legislature. There are nearly 900,000 privately owned firearms in Connecticut today.

Opponents of a gun seizure law expressed fears in 1999 that police would abuse the law. Today, the law’s backers say the record shows that hasn’t been the case.

“It certainly has not been abused. It may be underutilized,” said Ron Pinciaro, coexecutive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence.

Gayle Slossberg Onboard Fighting UI

Letter From Gayle To UI's Customers:

Dear Friend;

The state Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC) has decided to let United Illuminating open its 2006 rate case. The only reason to open the case is to request a rate increase which will increase the long-term cost of electricity. We cannot allow that to happen.

Last year, United Illuminating customers saw their electric bills nearly double. We cannot afford another increase in our rates. An increase now will hurt families, business's and municipalities that are struggling already to make ends meet. At time when the cost of everything-from groceries to gasoline-is on the rise, we've all had to tighten our belts and make due with less. United Illuminating needs to do the same.

However, unless we all come together and take a strong stand against this unjust and unreasonable request, the department may give United Illuminating shareholders the raise they want. We must take action, and we do it now.

Please visit my Website, download a letter to the DPUC commissioners, and tell them you will not tolerate another increase in electric rates. Connecticut ratepayers cannot live with another electric rate increase. Together, we will make our voices heard and we will fight this hike.

Sincerely,
Gayle Slossberg
State Senator

Local Environmentalists Canvass Milford

Last Monday a young lady was walking my neighborhood with a petition in hand. The cause was to protect aquatic life in New England rivers and also to raise some money to support their operations. The petition, was addressed to our public leaders urging them to force New England's nuclear power plants to comply with the Clean Water Act. The closest culprit to us being the Indian River Nuclear Power plant in Westchester county, see photo and reference link below.

The Energy companies are charged (by the environmentalists) with killing thousands of fish each year. They claim that the fish get sucked into the cooling system of the power plants. Attorney General Richard Blumenthal has agreed that the energy companies are in violation of the legal mandate under the the Federal Law.

The environmentalists have touted that an upgrade of more modern cooling technology is needed to protect the fish, as it stands an 80+ million dollar a year industry is at stake. The power plants have argued that the upgrades will cost in excess of 400 Million dollars, a cost that under the current conditions is prohibitive.

The case has gone to court, and is still in a litigious and hotly debated battle between the consumers of the electric who wish not to have their rates increased, the environmentalists who demand legal compliance and the energy companies who find it too challenging to meet the financial obligation of the upgrade.

Connecticut has two Nuclear Power Plants One is Connecticut Yankee (Decommissioned), the other is Millstone Nuclear, also being decommissioned.

Remembering Lee Atwater

Lee Atwater is the person photographed with Frank on his campaign card. Many people in the 118Th already have the card, but for those who have not yet received one it is available at www.rfrank118.com as item 7 on the scrolling slide show just click the photo for a printable card.

Today's post is to help many of those new voters, or those who do not remember who Lee Atwater was. The video up above tells his entire story, from his rise and fall and his dynamic and enthusiastic support of Republican politics. Personally I knew Lee in the later years of his life, and was one of his favorite Young Republicans during the Bush one campaign era.

Lee as the video above depicts marks his aggressive and often direct campaign style and later in his terminal stages an epiphany on life. This epiphany is what ultimately dejected me from the Republican party and became my impetus to rethink the job and responsibility of our elected leaders who all to often become all too insensitive to the needs of the common person.

Lee was not only an accomplished musician and a a great entertainer, but also one of this countries greatest heroes whose last words compelled all of us to work toward unity, a common country and ourselves become a voice of freedom and change.

Independent American Party Endorses Frank

Yesterday evening the Frank campaign received a telephone call from a Mr. Will Christianson the Independent American Party Chairman with the great news that caucuses were now closed in CT and Rocco J. Frank Jr. was their candidate. The IAP is one of Americas fastest growing parties with membership estimated in the millions nationwide. Connecticut has set up its State headquarters in Willamantic and is headed by Dennis Gorgoglione. Mr. Christianson indicated that the Independent party has been growing in strength and has been planning to absorb and integrate with the Constitution Party and several others.

The similar, AIP (American Independent Party) has had much success out West, and had such notable candidates as far back as 1968 including the nominated Alabama Governor George Wallace. Frank calls this endorsement an honor and a privilege in an era where nearly 60% of all Americans consider themselves Independent. Frank said that the party system in America is severely challenged. Republicans historically represented the wealth of society, now trickled down to a mere 5%, and the Democrats represented the working class. The people who have seen their jobs get exported to India, China, Mexico and several other countries by the millions, leaving us here in America with an apathetic Micro- wage economy.

Frank has interestingly pointed out that Americans want leadership and action during these hard times and according to polls conducted he learned that many people have voted outside their party for both Republicans and Democrats proving the Independent minded community of the 118th district in Milford.

Frank said that the day where an individual pulls all the levers that say "Democrat" or "Republican" is on a rapid decline. Frank said that "people have learned that such an action is what has led to the poor quality hit or miss characters that have compromised the integrity and quality of life in our town and state. Today people wish to know how interesting, qualified, and what innovative ideas new candidates represent to bring about a positive improvement in their lives."

The Independent Party is rapidly filling that goal. Frank also cited that Connecticut is very open to third parties citing Lowell Weicker and Joe Lieberman who both were successfully elected to high office.

M-Class Solar Flares Detected Today

Reprint from: Spaceweather.com

The Classification of X-ray Solar Flares
or "Solar Flare Alphabet Soup"

A solar flare is an explosion on the Sun that happens when energy stored in twisted magnetic fields (usually above sunspots) is suddenly released. Flares produce a burst of radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves to x-rays and gamma-rays. [more information]

Scientists classify solar flares according to their x-ray brightness in the wavelength range 1 to 8 Angstroms. There are 3 categories: X-class flares are big; they are major events that can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms. M-class flares are medium-sized; they can cause brief radio blackouts that affect Earth's polar regions. Minor radiation storms sometimes follow an M-class flare. Compared to X- and M-class events, C-class flares are small with few noticeable consequences here on Earth.

This figure shows a series of solar flares detected by NOAA satellites in July 2000:

UI Profits Soar 288%...And Accordingly So Does Milford's Forclosures!

UI had its annual conference call last week February 2008. To sum things up they whined that the economy was slow, you could not pay your bill and their losses on bogus xcelecom were disappointing.

On the party side their profit jumped 288% from 9 cents a share to 35 Cents a share! This profit was achieved by those of you who are paying your bills. They are anxiously waiting to fire up their pollution factories formerly known as the "filthy Five" and the "Sooty Seven" to increase their profits even more perversely.

As they increase their mega profits, the Connecticut Post today noted that Milford's pre-forclosures are up from 50 last month to 166 this month. The front page of the finance section bears concern of stagflation. But don't worry UI's Executives are also concerned about the economy, it has held their profits back to only 288% when they should have been more than that. The awful truth, if I may add a little sarcasm, is that purchasing candles has become a much cheaper lighting source than electric. This may now become even more relevant as the 2009 future prediction by UI's executives greedily boast double digit profit projections. I predict more people will be "breaking a sweat" flipping a light switch and/or acting out against family members who do not shut off lights.

I am absolutely baffled by the quote of Rich who said "Continuing operations for the fourth quarter are up nicely 35 Cents a share compared to 9 cents a share in 2006." I am absolutely speechless that this company was allowed to conduct itself in the economically oppressive manner that it has. This is an outrage and I am appalled that the DPUC has no control over the menacing profit of a public utility company.

Amazingly, they even succeeded in bilking the IRS out of 21 Million Dollars! Listen to the entire conference call because I am disappointed that in spite of the fact that this company has been given a new power grid, overcharged us with fraudulent meters, was given a 90% increase in just 7 years, killed parakeets, razed the landscape, devalued homes, and is now planning to poison our air in Milford come 2009, that DPUC continues to ignore the fact that people are losing their homes and need a break!

The conference call speaks for itself! Also the beginning of the broadcast is blank air time scroll to the middle of the feed for the conference call to begin.

Listen by clicking here.
