Gold At $1,000.00 Per Ounce? What Does It Mean?

Experts at a variety of commodities firms have been sharing their opinion about why the price of Gold has been surging to record levels. To explain from the best of my memory from each of the many conversations with professionals I have had, conclusively I can say that there are three recurring themes that I hear again and again.

These investment opinions, are derived from the fact that there are powerful forces driving up the price of Gold. These factors are each working in tandem to escalate the price almost daily.

The first factor is the Declining value of the U.S. Dollar on the world market, to put this simply the dollar, on average is worth one half as much today as it did 6 years ago. This reduces its purchasing power, and since gold is on the world market, as the dollar is worth less Gold appears to be priced higher.

The second factor, is that the market sentiment, and with no help from the Federal Reserve system, is that inflation is unusually high. While the CPI or Consumer Price Index suggests inflation to be contained, the cost of basic commodities like food and energy suggest otherwise. A common investment strategy, to hedge against inflation, has always been adding apx. 20%-30% of Gold as an investment in portfolios. Many professional investors are doing this.

The third most common factor, is that in lieu of the recent run up, there have been countless speculative investors looking to jump in on the profit bandwagon. Consequentially Gold has gone up nearly 400% in a few short years, investors also feel secure in Gold, but some professionals feel that in light of the recent spike Gold may be becoming a "bubble." If and when the "Gold Bubble" Pops will be entirely dependent on how fast the US economy recovers and to what extent. The current market sentiment however, has seen gold rise in value at a rate that is twice that of the declining dollar.

Should Gold continue to rise past $1,000.00 and possibly as high as $2,000.00 the U.S. Dollar had better be trading at 1/2 of what it is today. Should that not happen the next great loss on investment just may be the "Gold Bubble" guaranteed to pop shortly after Jobs return, and the Economy is strong again.

My personal opinion, and for the record I am no financial advisor, that short of a belief that the U.S. Dollar will continue its downward spiral to even greater record lows, accompanied by stagflation it has become a bet that has great profit potential against the "doom and gloom" of any future economic calamity.

The biggest concern any Gold Investors should have at the moment is the actions of the IMF (International Monetary Fund). Should the IMF continue to dump massive amounts of their Gold reserves via the worlds central banks, Gold would see an implosion and panic that could drive it back to $400 per ounce. If the IMF started doing this today, that $400 dollar price would be upon us by April or May of 2008. Just something to think about.

The IMF holds Apx 100 Billion Dollars worth of Gold, and is mired with financial problems. The IMF has been selling some gold, and as their problems precipitate further they could end up selling much more.

Buy Gold if you think our economy is "Finished." Dump your Gold if you think the U.S. Economy and Dollar is about to recover "Greater Than Before." The Graphs below give a historical account of the rising price of Gold relative to the the Dollar.

Lou Dobbs On Freedom Radio Today

Lou Dobbs is one of Americas leading advocates reporting on the shameful, and unbelievable political policies that render America insecure. In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, our government created the Department of Homeland Security, of which combined all U.S. intelligence for the benefit of our safety and national protection.

Lou Dobbs has said that America has yet to act in a manner that would actually protect America. Our shipping ports are wide open, with containers left largely un-inspected, our border is still wide open with the daily influx of drugs, human trafficking issues, murders, and military incursions by the Mexican government into America.

America has done more to protect the borders of Iraq, than our own country, and just this week week NYC has come under fire. One of NYC first apparent terrorists attacks was against an army recruiting center, a clear sign of the sentiment in America.

As our economy this week continues to slide and the rich get richer, the US Dollar continued to dive. Gold and other precious metals surged to all time extreme highs. There are ominous and eerie signs that something is wrong in America. This is evident in the lives and faces of plain people who have not a clue about their future.

Middle class Americans have been especially hurt and burdened with conditions likened to those of the 1970's depression. Some Yahoo polls fear that this current slide is not over, that our leaders regressive trade and national debts practices are working like a "two headed" snake fighting Americas greatness. The next decade will mark the path of Americas future, whether we fall, or like a phoenix "rise from the ashes" is entirely up to how bad Americans, like me and you, want to save our country.

Daniel Street Seeks New Owner

The popular entertainment club known to the locals as Daniels Street has gone up for sale. The club/Pub has been on the market for some time now and has yet to find a new home.

The pub is affiliated with the Stonebridge Restaurant just across the street from it. The Pub has recently come under fire when they were dragged to court on this case While the case appears to be ongoing, it has demonstrated that there have been issues and liabilities there regarding the security of its patrons.

These problems, like most typical night clubs, were probably due to the clubs inability to properly screen and discriminate against problem patrons who may have attended events there under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

While the owner of the pub was not available for comment, one such person who wishes to remain anonymous said "that the best way to resolve these issues is to have the new owners make it a members only club with a strict code of conduct, and a required membership card for admission."

Meanwhile scores of bands advertising on Myspace all have adorned the club and promoted their performances there via the Internet. These bands can still be contacted by searching for Milford CT, or Daniel Street on Myspace or like social networking sites.

Marine Throws Puppy Off Cliff

WARNING!! EXTREMELY DISTURBING VIDEO!!

Most obviously the Marine who performed the horrible act of animal cruelty has been identified and is in big trouble but that does not help the poor puppy whose is heard yelping as it flew out of the marines hands and probably to its death on jagged rocks far below.

This is an outrage, and how the video was shot and filmed as if some sort of perverse theatrics to be enjoyed is even more disturbing. If this is what we have fighting on the battlefields overseas it is no wonder why America, and Americans are so disliked in so many places.

The video was deleted en-masse from the internet (When it appers again I will repost over photo) and did not last in most key sources, my best guess is that the highest authorities at the Marines including Gen. Cover up is threatened Youtube and every major news organization. If it is not at the link listed here I suggest you call our leaders and demand your First Amendment rights on behalf of our news organizations.



You should also demand that this Marine be court marshaled put in prison and be immediately removed from the Armed Forces. It is also important to note that despite what we see here with our own eyes this is still under investigation by the military.

Apparently these are not isolated incidents. Alex Jones at www.Infowars.com is reporting on animal cruelty today and has demonstrable proof and evidence that animal cruelty has become somewhat of a sick military entertainment event.

UPDATE: Critics post video arguing this to be a fake, Marines have yet an official position on the matter. Having been formerly employed with an Animal Hospital and having two vets in my family, I can say that a dead dog does not have elastic skin that can be grabbed like that, not unless it was freshly killed. My opinion is that it looks real to me, but to be fair this is what the skeptics say:

Government Concedes Autism Case In Federal Court

Jenny McCarthy has an autistic son, she and Famed Actor Jim Carey (Featured in photo) have an ongoing relationship. Part of Jenny's attraction to Carey is in her words "he is very good with my son."

Carey and McCarthy have been involved in several outspoken groups, and have also been part of several autism awareness and educational groups.

David Kirby, a reporter for the Huffington post has called this most recent class action lawsuit "the vaccine-autism document every person in America should read." Careful attention should be placed to "Its key words which are "aggravated" and "manifested." Without the aggravation of the vaccines, it is uncertain that the manifestation would have occurred at all."

The principal ingredient that has raised grave alarm and controversy is known to the medical community as Thimerosal or a vaccine preservative containing trace amounts of mercury. Mercury is a most deadly neurotoxin and works to destroy human brain cells. The video below shows exactly what happens to the human brain when exposed to mercury.

Our children are given vaccines since birth. The most common are Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV), DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis),Hib (meningitis), IPV (polio), Influenza MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella (chickenpox), MCV4 (bacterial meningitis)and Hepatitis A.

These vaccines are in some cases forced upon the parents of young children, at the expense of the safety of the vaccines themselves. Do not get me wrong here, I am all for having kids vaccinated, what I am not for is injecting our kids with mercury laced Thimerosal (or any dangerous vaccine) of which must be removed.

Many law firms are now beginning to understand the litigation involved, and profits to be made against medical giants lie Eli Lily and Merk. Big pharma does not wish to become casualties of what may become the greatest litigation battle of all time and are feverishly doing all in their power to protect themselves from any wrongdoing.

They continue to maintain that there is no link between vaccines and Autism, when all the data suggests there is.

This may affect every parent in CT because we have a Healthy Kids program that is economically aimed at saving the state of CT money. No where does it expressly address the grave issue of parental choice, vaccine safety, or links to spectrum disorders like Autism.

What Is Killing American's

Over the last several years I have taken part in watching countless documentaries on everything from Genetically engineered foods to the casualties caused by fast food and the tobacco industry. In todays blog I decided to compile some statistics for everyone to see. This is because we all know that there are greedy profiteers out there that will feed us and sell us anything for a buck regardless of the impact it has on our lives.

Most people being naive, believe the claims made by these big industries, who despite the facts have told us their products are safe, wonderful, and urged you to become part of the growing trend. As you watch every cheeseburger, cheap foreign product, medicine and widget come across your television to the tune of about 20-30 commercials per hour, your mind is being shaped for the benefit of the big corporations who care not a damm about anything other than selling you.

The way these companies sell you is by making their products as delicious, and addictive as possible. The aim is to keep you coming back again and again as a customer until eventually over a prolonged exposure to the plethora of health damaging products lands you sick in a hospital. The big corporations do not care about your health, but rather their bottom line... how much have they sold and how much money is there in profit. In summary they get rich, you get indebted, jobless, sick and then prematurely die, hopefully this helps you get the picture.

Something to think about while you are at home (fat and in debt), watching a foreign made T.V. with a bag of fast food on your lap.

A: Tobacco Products Kill Apx. 500,000 people every 364 Days.

C: American's Owe Apx. 1,000,000,000,000.00 On their Credit cards alone.

F: America Lost Apx. 3 Million Jobs overseas.

G: Nutrasweet Discovered To Cause Brain Cancer.

H: Apx 60% Of All Marriages Ended In Divorce.

And the biggest of them all, last year the American dream of owning a home resulted in foreclosures jumping upward to a 75% increase.

America is now in your hands, this country can only be saved from the bottom up. And in the words of a famous other. "Seek to become the change you want to see in the world."
