"Czar's" in Milford Are a Communist Concept

This is no joke, I picked up the Connecticut post today and there it was talk of a "Blight Czar." The first thing I thought of was the record number "Czars" that are now embedded into the Obama administration.

Just so we are clear here the word Czar means a Communist Russian "Emperor or King." Americas longest serving Democratic Congressman Rep. Byrd wrote a letter to Pres. Obama concerned that the record 18 czars in his administration represent a hazard that "can threaten the Constitutional system of checks and balances."

We do not need to start that outrageous practice here in Milford. The thought of letting future Mayors appoint PAID Czars outside the confirmation of the board of alderman, or without the consent of the governed, are far outside the principles of our Democratic Republic. Personally I heard these blight complaints about a year ago when I was out and about campaigning in the 118th district, some are reasonable and valid, others are mean spirited and an act of revenge against a neighbor. I also met people who were concerned with blighted commercial properties and wanted something done to improve them. I suppose with much heavy industry and commercial property in trouble, some ideas are ready to be put on the table.

What remains unclear to me is what exactly constitutes a "blighted property." If the definition extends to people who forgo home repairs in lieu of having a place to live, or a widow whose husband is no longer living to make home repairs, than no thanks on pursuing this idea.

However, if this idea is directed at abandoned properties and properties that pose a danger (such as a fire, structural, or intrusion hazard) that can harm others, than I agree. Certainly our town has a zoning and planning board, zoning enforcement board, and an office of Community and Economic Development. Milford also has a the additional Devon Revitalization Committee and as well as several other venues not mentioned to improve the look of our community.

The thought of appointing a Plight "Emperor or King" is funny and yet repulsive. Perhaps Milford's elected officials should focus on applying local laws without the imposition of tyrannical Communist Style "Czars." Lambasting Milford's Barbara Lambert

It has been nearly a year since our Freshman Representative has taken office in Hartford at the state capitol. Many folks have been asking me what she has been up to because there is nothing in the papers about her positions, no mention of how she is implementing her "plan" or how she is challenging "utilities" "taxes" and all the buzz she put in her mass mailed sales brochure. To be quite honest I personally have not seen or heard a thing about how she is serving Milford, not in the papers or in the news.

Today I googled her name, and I even visited her legislative website. It mentions she is on a labor committee, and some other trivial "hoopla" and the Google results just come up with a bunch of other self promoting party propaganda probably written by herself, kids, friends, and party bosses.

While she is off in space somewhere, Milford is in the process of having its school funding cut from the state, and yet I have not heard a mention that she somehow is for or against this. I and other parents, would like to know what Ms. Lambert (and our other representatives are doing)to save our school funding from the cutting board? Now that I am personally running for the board of ed I am going to voice my complaint here since she is basically MIA on all issues. Most people I speak with, especially those who voted for her along with Obama, do not even remember her or know who she is, but when I asked them how they voted they said all Democrat.

To cut to the chase on this one, I am personally very disappointed that Ms. Lambert does not seem to stand for anything, that she is making no effort to take a public stance in the papers to defend the things that are being taken from our town. The Courthouse Annex, green energy, the Boardwalk and now our schools are about to be shortchanged further. I think we need to ask Ms. Lambert "what exactly are you doing and why are you not standing up for our town?"

I am personally really disappointed that she is not fighting hard for us. Milford deserves better.

SUMMARY OF MILFORD EDUCATIONAL CUTS
*********************************************

Governor Rell's budget cuts would:

* Reduce many state education grants by 10% from their current funding level.

* Reduce special education service grants by 10% in all municipalities.

* Eliminate state funding for internet access, and filtering of "adult" content in all public libraries and K-12 schools in Connecticut.

* Eliminate or reduce by 40% the amount of state funding given to local health departments and health districts.

These cuts would come on top of other cuts in municipal aid or flat-funding of programs that our cities and towns rely on. The Educational Cost Sharing (ECS) grant, which is the largest portion of state aid for local education in Connecticut, would be flat-funded for the two year budget. In addition, other programs such as the PILOT (Payment-In-Lieu-of-Taxes) Grant, which helps cities and towns make up for tax losses for tax exempt properties such as state property, hospitals and universities, have been reduced as well. These cuts, along with elimination of funding for our libraries, will put a strain on our municipalities.

Milford Independent Party To Announce Candidates

This Wednesday April 22ND, the Milford Independent Party will be announcing its roster of Independent candidates for local offices. This party, not yet even out of its infancy stage, is expected to fill nearly 20 ballot slots across all local districts.

This number is astounding, and a new record for the city of Milford's third party push history. Never before has a single party placed so many candidates on a ballot at one time. This record is superior even to that of Milford's Working Families Party, Libertarian Party, Constitution Party and the Libertarian Party.

The names of the candidates will be announced in front of the Gazebo on the Milford Green, and will be submitted to the press for full disclosure to the public. Christmas Grinch Apprehended By Police

Looks like crime does not pay in Milford, especially at the hospital where last Christmas the Grinch featured above was caught on video "lifting" gifts from the tree in the hospitals Lobby.

According to the receptionists at the front desk of the lobby the Grinch was identified and charged accordingly two weeks ago. Her court date should be coming up soon for anyone who wishes to follow up on her comeuppance.

More than likely this case will be prosecuted at the Milford Courthouse in Downtown Milford.

Milfords New Independent Party

Politics and Entropy have much in common in Milford. When everything and everyone is an elected Democrat, critics of the Milford Independent Party have invoked the spoiler theory. Let's say the critics are right and this new party does adversely effect incumbent Republicans that would mean a single party controls our town.

This would be very good news for the "out" parties, because in time as things go awry in politics (and they always do) the dominant party will receive its comeuppance by having frustrated their voters. We could expect their future votes being split in equal parts in more common three way races. No one will likely ever get over 50% in the years to come.

The Milford Independent party will be spending time looking for qualified candidates to fill every Independent seat in the next Nov. municipal election.

The Milford voters are expected to be the big winners and hopefully embrace more choices. Ultimately Milfords citizens will decide who the victors are, not the parties. Thus far the only challenge to the newly formed party is the light showing of former Democrats.

The Independent party is expected to build the Democrat minority in the years to come, by advocating those values that unify both parties and solidify our community. Much work remains, and at the moment Myself and Peter Spaltoff are independently working toward a platform that unites our community in an Independent way. The great showing at the first meeting has all but guaranteed our future success and strong momentum.

Why is Barry Soetoro Also Barrack Obama?

With the upcoming election, and the daunting words of Colin Powell reminding Americans that something significant is going to happen the 21st or 22nd of this month I started thinking about what could go so wrong.

Could this big crisis be an identity crisis? Or perhaps something more scathing. Barry or Barrack has had his birth certificate thing go to the Supreme Court and be essentially dismissed but the following Fox news story still leaves many questions about who our President is and also who he works for? I think he still owes us answers and his allegiance to America should not be automatically assumed.

Post Election Notes

Thank you to everyone who believed in the Independent party, and thank you to the 10% of the people in Milford's 118Th district who agreed with me that the two party system is a failure. It is very hard to argue with the general population of our town who overwhelmingly voted for the two parties. This merely tells me that there is more trust and faith in the Republican and Democratic party than I thought.

The voter turnout was impressive, and the people of our district got the government they voted for. There is no one to blame this election than the newly elected unchallenged super majority in Hartford. Connecticut's legislature is comprised of enough Democratic leaders to say that they have attained power equalled to that of the one party system in Communist China. Rell's vetoes are more meaningless and reversible in the wake of a super majority, and with the Constitutional convention voted down, the people of Connecticut are powerless until the next election.

The Independent party, however did score a victory here in Milford, 10% of us told our local leaders that we have no faith in their parties and Independents can now register as Independents and not Unaffiliated.

We have also defined the very definition of insanity, going back to the same old two party system and expecting a different result. With the state mired in a Billion dollars in debt and the people of this state tapped and fleeing, the Liberals up in Hartford are going to have to put all their promises on hold.

Obama gave every Democrat in America a great push into many seats, and this Christmas the Grinch will end up being the Democratic super majority that profited from his "godlike" success. The Democrats in America have made more promises than the state has money. Their friends at their charities throughout the state are surely to be disappointed when our representatives roll around with an "empty hat" and a whole lot of unfunded promises. For this reason the Independent party has adopted the unpopular platform of making no promises and telling the truth about what the government can deliver.

This message was sent to our leaders thanks to the great many of you who were smart enough to recognize that when politicians say they have a "plan" that they have no "plan." That when they tell you they bring about "change" the actually just end up assimilating and nothing "changes."

With the dramatic events that are predicted to unfold in the coming years, those events that are so horrible as Biden and Obama says that he will be driven to "hard choices," it is safe to say that the Government is putting us all out to "pasture" in the coming months and years. My final message to all of you is to remember that God takes care of those who take care of themselves so prepare accordingly because we have no idea about how bad the "hard unpopular choices" are going to be.

The most scary thing about the Obama election is that his predictions nicely unfold "Conspiracy Fiction" into well documented fact.

Congress Angry they have No Power Over The Fed

Criminal elements within our own government pulled off the ultimate scam, they just sold 700 Billion dollars of garbage rated financial assets to the taxpayer. Rather than hold the criminals accountable who created this mess we just sent them a big fat reward and a message that they can do no wrong, that the American taxpayer is a "doormat" and our associated leaders are mere obstacles that can be ignored by the oligarchs in charge.

The tally on the federal bailout, the one no one talks about, is the influx of calls into our congressional leaders offices. As far as the bailout goes the calls have bee coming in overwhelmingly with two responses. "NO" and "HELL NO" to the bailout of the Wall Street Felons.

Unfortunately for the people and our elected government, we were also told to "sit down and shut up" because a handful of treasonous traitors just over-rode the entire Constitutional process and "shelved" all our rights and complaints so they could get on with paying out billions starting Monday.



Special Note: The 700 Billion House Bill Defeat today would have been in addition to the 700 Billion already issued in credit by the FED. The Fed already has the power to issue as much liquidity and loans as they wish without approval from congress, this vote was meerely a feeble attempt to mask and legitimize the actions of the FED.

Farmers Speak At Durham CT Fair

This evening I attended the Durham Fair up in Durham Connecticut. These types of dairy and livestock fairs have become somewhat more routine over the last few years as My step daughter is a member of the 4H club and is actively involved in competitive cow showing.

The experience has been enlightening, and my travels far as last month I found myself up at the Big E in Agawam Massachusetts. This was an opportunity for me to have several conversations with farmers, and also to learn the wisdom behind Ghandi's famous words that "Life is one indivisible whole" every action in our lives affect others and today that realization has made me even more aware than just a month ago.

While in Durham I met with some of Connecticut's top dairy farmers, and I asked them what they thought were the main concerns facing farmers in our state. One thing immediately came up, and that was that sales are down but only because of the low fat, diets that Americans have undertaken. Since the advent of video games, and our sedentary lifestyle more of us than ever have developed weigh issues that consequentially eliminate fat from our diets. This reduces the demand for our dairy farmers fatty products limiting what they are able to sell.

Another issue they mentioned was the broader economic competition from farms across America. While most farmers here in Connecticut get tax breaks on their land that equate to an average of $400.00 per acre in tax, they do not have the undocumented workers that other western farms use to gain a competitive advantage. One thing I personally know for certain, from my endeavors in trading produce at Hunts Point in NYC price and quality is everything when it comes to trading food. Connecticut just cannot compete with the rest of the country on many products, except Milk and some dairy.

The cost of gasoline is making imported products more expensive, so the less distance they travel the better the price. Many farms here in our state receive federal grants and subsidies to ensure their continued operation during difficult times.

When I asked about the food situation relative to the National economy, both these gentlemen felt that America has more than enough food to feed ourselves and other nations like China who purchase many of the high fat products we snicker at here in the states. It was their opinion that there is no cause for concern that America will run out of food anytime soon.

One question I had in particular was the use of GMO foods, or those that are genetically modified. Both these gentlemen were well aware of the debate surrounding GMO's but defended them on the grounds that they were good for our farmers. They indicated that GMO's result in more robust higher yield harvests, are more resistant to pests and deliver a good looking highly marketable product. When I asked about how the nutritional aspects of these products relative to us the consumers he did admit that little consideration was given to that as a matter of fact that was secondary to increasing profits. He also said that most farmers here in our state are receptive to the products developed by the "Big Agra's" like the Mosanto Corp.

In summary both these people felt that the overall health of the industry in our state appears to be vibrant, with lots of interest from many facets of our state including great clubs like the 4H clubs and several agribusiness/science programs. The overall feeling about farming here in our state is that their is plenty of room for improvement but for now, even though its not highly profitable, things are looking good.

Constitutional Convention Sparks Debate

Every 20 years the issue of a constitutional convention appears on the ballot here in our state. What the convention calls for is the opening of the state constitution for debate and alteration vis a vis the general public rather than the general assembly.

This years convention has put two big titans head to head in a battle of epic proportions, on one side we have the liberal pro-choice pro-gay marriage pro women's reproductive rights while on the conservative side we have the pro-life, pro-marriage, pro conservative values. These amount to two groups facing off, the churches who are in favor of the constitutional convention, and the liberal factions within Connecticut who oppose it.

Of those who oppose the constitutional convention, do so by way of reasoning that special interests will use their public authority to modify the state constitution for their own politically motivated reasons. Most people at the moment cannot even describe what the convention is or entails, but of those who do know, like Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, oppose it.

Ultimately it is up to us to decide if we wish for the general public to exercise their rights to modify the the state Constitution but thus far the opposing factions are mostly the churches and the social liberals in our state.

The first bout of this battle will take place this Sunday where several church groups have banded together to support the definition of marriage to remain between a man and a woman. The issue is currently before the supreme court and religious conservatives fear that our state judges will legislate rather than follow the rule of law of which has already been established in the state.

Jonathan Law High School Renovations Boast Student Healthy Environment

With Construction and Asbestos abatement nearing completion, parents of the incoming freshman class at Jonathan Law have endured orientation cancellations and delays. These encumbrances, however annoying are welcomed and praised by many who now are excited that Milford's school is being upgraded and abated of its 60's era asbestos toxins.

With that said this years incoming students will enjoy not only a safe school but also a fully updated and upgraded computer program. This monumental IT task was achieved in tandem with the help and support of the Milford Board of Education employees and the tireless work of the ComputerFox on New Haven Avenue in Milford.

Paul Wydra, a 2008 Foran graduate and ComputerFox Employee during the this renovation, said that the "task was monumental, messy and not surprised there were delays. There was serious concerns over the cleanup and abatement of the asbestos particles and every precaution had to be taken to ensure the absolute safety and cleanup of any residual particles."

My youngest step daughter, who will be an incoming freshman at Jonathan Law this year, chimed in and said she "is very excited to know her high school is improved." She is also looking forward to reuniting with all her friends from last year. On a sad note she was a bit disappointed to have missed orientation but still remains upbeat and positive that so much care and hard work was given to her high school.

The School is expected to open on schedule to kick off the new year.

State Rep Cafero "Legislature Unfriendly To Small Business."

Larry Cafero, Norwalk state Representative in a recent meeting with republican candidates has called the state legislature "unfriendly to small business."

In a partisan and divisive attack, Rep. Cafero blamed the house Democrats as the culprits behind the economic turmoil in our state. Cafero has claimed that our state legislature was rated "50Th out of 50" as the least friendly legislature to small business in America.

As a small business owner myself, I can certainly agree that there are challenges, but placing blame one single party is a stretch unless we exclude the Rowland era corruption and the accusations of bid rigging and beyond all over the state.

From my vantage point, and as a small business owner myself, I can personally attest that the problems I face are more to do with my customers struggling to make ends meet. While I, like most businesses do no not have a Beverly Hills elite clientele but rather the everyday middle class family people as my customers, charging a profit in the wake of fierce competition can hardly be blamed on any one single party let alone the Democrats.

What challenges small business in Connecticut is as simple as the cost of living, Food and Energy inflation and the availability of living wage jobs. Our state legislature certainly can make things easier by lowering the price of gas, but I assure you that if the energy price drops to that of New Jersey we will need tolls. Even in NJ where gas is cheap in the long run you pay more just through the aggregate taxation of tolls added to the cost of getting around.

With our legislative record now marred as the worst in America perhaps it is time to get serious about providing solutions and not blaming Democrats for political gain. When Cafero indicated in his July stump speech that he let the National Republicans define the scope and purpose of our state leaders, he admitted that their complacency and trust for their national party has become a problem.

The Republicans now are composed of less than 400,000 to the overwhelming 700,00 democrats in this state. Nothing however compares to the largest group of registered voters the "Unaffiliated" (Or as I believe the Independents) now registered to the tune of 800,000.

These numbers speak clearly to me about how the public feels toward the policies of the Republicans and the national agenda that Cafero wants to step away from. Cafero has good reason to try and reinvent the Republican Party in this state, he needs to take it back from the national leaders who have let the Bush Cheney legacy erode at the core of its scope and purpose.

The Republican party, as I remembered it was one that marked the progress and protections of the Constitution and kept the Republic of America strong. The Republicans were the precursor to the agenda of the upper class in America. Today we are struggling to maintain the integrity of the U.S. Constitution, we are debating things like freedom of speech as basic civil rights again. These were all policies imposed after 9/11 by the Republican administration.

In 2005 Bush called the constitution a "Goddamn piece of paper" and followed up with the Patriot act 1 & 2, started multiple wars with botched CIA intelligence and promoted the Anti-American agenda of the PNAC (Project for a new American Century). These are not to include the colossal bipartisan blunder of NAFTA, GAFTA and every other policy that allows for foreign invasion and export of jobs. Also, Illegal migrant workers were permitted leniency by both parties and are now the subject of angry debate not only in Connecticut but all over America.

How do we restore a sound macro-economy in connecticut when our biggest industry is weapons? Connectut makes Submarines, Helicopters, Satellites, Armaments, Radar, and yes of course gambling. Tradgically war is good for the state economy, however sad and frustrating this is to me Connecticut spoke again when our favorite war hawk Joe Lieberman was ousted from his own party. Our state is craving a peace industry, we do not desire to be a global supplyer of death merchandise and gambling.

Personally I respect Rep. Cafero, however I do not agree with his rhetoric that divides the parties rather than unites them. The problems we all face are not Republican or Democrat problems, they are Federal problems, they are global competition problems, energy problems, inflation problems and deficit in leadership problems. I know Mr. Cafero knows this, that is why I wrote this article today to take issue with his polarizing blame of something he clearly knows better on.

The answers to small business in Connecticut, is good Jobs, not just any job but good paying living wage jobs. Tax cuts for unemployed people do not help small business, nor does a little cheaper gas. What helps small business is for our kids and grand kids to have a future in which they can afford a home, a car, an education, and to go shopping. I cannot emphasize enough that jobs and living wage incomes is what this state needs and Connecticut should be focused on that, not blaming opponents for Connecticut's horrible record. Show me real solutions not blame!

Ice Cream Social Tomorrow

Frank's second fundraiser is being held at his home in Milford tomorrow from 6:30P.M. to 9:00P.M. The event will feature an ice cream social and an opportunity to share in other fun gaming activities.

The event will be mostly dominated by next years 9Th grade at Jonathan Law High School who will also be engaged in other outdoor fun stuff. All are welcome, even adults who just wish to share in coffee and dessert.

This event is a fundraising event to get Rocco Frank our Milford CT candidate for state rep over the threshold of 150 unique donations from Milford Residents. My Dog Loves Eisenhower Park

Eisenhower park has to be the most pet friendly place in Milford, my dog a Yellow Lab puppy absolutely loves Eisenhower Park. There are plenty of open fields, streams, and trails and no shortage of free parking spots. The park is also set back from the main road enough where there is little concern over pets wandering into the street.

When I had gone online I also found some great websites where people can make pet dates. These are people who have dogs that get along and enjoy each others company, the website allows people to connect so that they can arrange times pets and their owners can meet. The website is: www.pawspot.com

The park is also full of fun athletic activities including a strip for Radio controlled Airplanes and Cars, paddle ball, golf, tennis courts, exercise courses, public gardens, and an outdoor theater with bleachers. The park also had a public swimming hole now closed, that still bears the memory of a sandy beach and a pavilion.

There is quite a bit to do for anyone who loves the outdoors, or just wants to bring their pet out for some fun social activities. One thing that I must reveal however, is that I have a father and a brother both of which whom are Veterinarians, my brother is not in Connecticut but my father has owned and operated the Westport Animal Hospital for the last 20 years. This experience, I must confess makes me guilty of really loving animals and motivates me to share my interest in fun pet stuff.

My new puppy Bella, like the dog above, was born last August, she loves to play fetch, go hiking, swim in streams and puddles and never misses an opportunity to show her love to anyone that is willing to give her attention.

Monarch's And CEO'S Meet In Chantilly VA

This is something that was puzzling to me especially since our news media said nothing of the event. This event is very exciting and yet significant because when our nations top executives and monarchs get together for a couple of days, I suppose it is kind of like all the bullies in the schoolyard associating with baseball bat manufactures.

The event did not go completely unnoticed as Jack Schaffer at Slate Magazine wrote an article in defiance of the privacy mandate our world leaders demanded.

What makes this meeting significant to every single person in America is that it violates the Logan Act, an act that specifically bars our U.S. Leaders from engaging in global policy decisions outside of Washington D.C. and without the expressed legal consent of a vote in Congress. The Logan act is very specific, and these types of meetings are highly illegal.

This would make absolute sense as to why the corporate media has been so "hush" on these events. They are most likely not covering them because they are being conducted in a manner that precludes them from obtaining press releases. If their intentions are rooted in Corporate Feudalism as Ralph Nader states is becoming the case in America, than any news on the subject of this meeting would be wildly unpopular.

However, being caught red handed this year and several protesters with bull horns dragging them out in the open thanks to the Internet. The globalist assembly released this press release, admitting to their meeting and defending why it is they needed to assemble in a sneaky manner at a hotel in Chantilly Virginia.

This press release appears to be a blatant admission that violations of the Logan Act took place, and yet we as the pawns of their elitist agenda we have all but been "declawed" of any way to hold them accountable. As a matter fact the Elite Oligarchs who run our country have tried on numerous occasions to to repeal the Logan Act but to no success. What they did manage to achieve for themselves was the suspension of its ever being enforced and no one has been convicted of it in nearly 50+ years.

Even though these meetings are called "private" the Department of Justice as confirmed by a source at Apple Computer via E-Mail, indicated that the American Taxpayers had purchased every member of this group an Expensive Ipod with an engraving on it "Bilderberg 2008." If these meeting are in fact not "Official" than perhaps they should purchase their own Ipods, plus who knows what else the taxpayers funded of this "private" meeting.

In conclusion the purpose of this article is to expose the fact that these meetings go on, and what they are up to only leaves ones imagination going. Their official press release should reassure even the most pessimistic person that this event did in-fact take place, this alone should be enough to warrant each and every one of us to start asking questions as to the scope and purpose of their intentions.

She is a member of the Milford Zoning Board of Appeals. A community leader, she is active in Devon Revitalization and a member of the Walnut Beach Association. She started and is currently chair for Devon Day and Devon Summer Events. She is the chair of the Milford Anti-Hate Task Force. She is a certified and licensed occupational therapy assistant who works primarily with senior citizens. She has received the Milford Council on Aging’s Community Spirit Award. Nanci has also worked in schools with special needs children and has received the Occupational Therapist of the Year from the Connecticut Coalition for Inclusive Education. She has an associates degree in Allied Sciences from Briarwood College."

One other special note is that Nancy has cross supported Friends of Joe Lieberman with a $500.00 donation on 11/1/06.

THE DEMOCRATS

Last night the Milford Democrats, held their convention at the Senior Center and announced Barbara Lambert, the 2Nd. District alderwoman as their candidate for the 118Th. Lambert, reading from cue cards, gave a speech to a group of local Democrats. At this time there is not much more known about Ms. Lambert other than to say that she is possibly 60 or 70 years old been married for 40 years and has served in the local town government. The Democrats have not issued an official press release yet, but one is expected to arrive in the upcoming local news papers.

Milford Faring Well Amid Tepid Times

The paper was a pleasure to read this week as the schools recieved a partial victory with one million dollars restored to the school budget. The yearly address by our town mayor indicated the city is doing well despite the difficult economy, but warned that if things did not improve there remained a chance that those problems could catch up with us.

It is always good to read great news, or as some of my friends put it news that appears to be a compromise in which the needs of the taxpayers are balanced with that of the schools system.

Schools are very important to many here in Milford and Connecticut, and funding is the "grease" that makes it all work. This victory, although it had what appears to be a positive outcome may be a pyrric victory as some local disenfranchised taxpayers feel betrayed by by the very alderman they voted to elect.

One such taxpayer indicated that "they were elected to do one thing, and now they did the opposite. I really feel bad for the teachers but I have to chose between food and medicine, I could barely pay my taxes now what do they expect me to do? Does anyone feel bad for me?"

The budget may be in order for 2008 but the reality of this situation is that absent some real economic improvement Milford only managed to "dodge the bullet."

Taxpayers Vs. Cost Of Education

There is a squabble going on in town over the cost of education, inflation, and the restoration of missing money from the school system that left many teachers, students, and residents, disappointed with the 2009 budget.

Last election the taxpayers, elected a board of Alderman, that promised to keep our town taxes low, while teachers were surprised when the budget fell short a couple of million dollars. The new Superintendent, Harvey Polansky said to the Board of Alderman to "restore the funds" and that he did not take the new job of superintendent to "dismantle the school system." On the other hand Edward Tamas a local Milford native, has spearheaded a taxpayer group that told the Board Of Alderman that if they give Polansky what he is demanding than he will lead a "Recall" mission to hold the Alderman at their word... keeping our property taxes affordable.

The entire situation has only become more challenging, as towns and municipalities all over connecticut are desperately seeking money to fix gaps in their budgets limiting what the state can offer in aid. New Haven, Bridgeport, Waterbury, you name it virtually every city is struggling, unless it be lower fairfield county and then things get at the very least "Rosier" for those towns that were able to maintain quality education with a low mill rate relative to their expensive real estate.

According to the CT Post "aldermanic Leaders do not feel threatened by the potential recall, said Minority Leader Vincent Ditchkus Jr., R-3. (referring to Tamas) It's his right to seek it, but a recall is not an easy process. And a special election would cost money. Has he thought of that?"

The energy and emotions are running hot as the blog boards show a very divisive battle over the town budget, petitions with thousands of signatures have been circulating to everyone including Milford's mayor Richetelli. Our leaders, most notably Jim Amann has resigned under a cloud of suspicion citing that he wants to focus on becomming Connecticuts next governor, a job that in the wake of Rell's high approval rating is a "longshot at best."

Rocco J. Frank Jr. a candidate for Jim Amman's seat said two things about the sad situation at city hall, he said "that the alderman and Amann "painted themselves into a corner" had Jim delivered the educational funds to Milford's schools like he did for St. Mary's Catholic school, and other pet projects, we would not have this mess on our hands. I believe that Jim understood how this mess could backfire on him, I believe he resigned to spare himself any potential embarrassment."

Frank also said that at this point "Milford should learn from this horrible mistake and setup a local "rainy day fund" so no more teachers ever have to be subjected to this kind of humiliation from the town Democrats and Republicans." Frank also said that successful towns do not diminish their school systems and neither should Milford.

Pope Orders Mass Obedience and Submission To The United Nations

This is one I need to set the record straight on, because I was a bit taken and yet surprised that Pope Benedict is out selling the U.N. to the general public. Aside from the fact that the U.N. is not God and will never have anything to do with God, this oddity of the pope engaging in politics will only serve to further divide those Americans who believe in America and our freedom, both of which the U.N. wants.

While I admired Benedict's up and down apologies for the church child molestation incidents, I was really upset over the church openly selling our country to the U.N. I hope everyone who reads this blog understands and knows that dissolving our countries sovereignty is an illegal and blatant act of treason. According to our Constitution, anyone who surrenders our power to another form of government one that does not recognize a single right granted to us by the Bill of Rights and our U.S. Constitution is guilty of treason. Just remember Benedict Arnold... no pun intended.

To put this into perspective and to quote George Bush, that "goddam piece of paper", as he called it, is what he and all his treasonous cronies swore to uphold. They did so with the blood of our veterans on their hands and as our trusted leaders vowed to defend our constitution, with their hand on the bible. Just pay attention next Presidential inauguration, you will see yet another CFR globalist make the same promise.

Remember that the people featured in the photo below would like to be our "Gods" and only you can be tricked into surrendering our sovereignty and freedom away. However, remember that some "not in the know" are not entirely to blame, because they are so polluted by the televised propaganda in tandem with orchestrated media trite that truth has now become stranger than fiction.

Just know that our founders wise words keep popping up time and again and we constantly find ourselves repeating the same dishonorable behavior, and actions that they warned us against. We have now reached a point where our opinion is of little to no consequence, that the future is about saving America or your personal interest. To help put this into perspective, especially to us Catholics out there, who voted for bush based on his pro-life stance, who knew that he would kill over a million Iraqi's, scrap our constitution, and torture people much like Torquemada of the Spanish inquisition. Think beyond just abortion this time around, when you vote this November, think less about babies and more about saving our liberty. Every American deserves a future free of tyranny and protracted wars!America is not Rome, and Bush is not Ceasar!
