Dodd Delauro & Pelosi Latest Victims Of Tea Party Patriots

Over the weekend, Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi came to Guilford Ct for a Democratic Party Fundraiser. The event was held at a private residence, and was a "Pay Per Seat Meet and Greet" by Connecticut's wealthy Democratic Elite.

The Speakers presence in CT was not without its troubles, because Tea Party Patriots still reeling with anger over health care, deficit spending, and taxes showed up with a contingent of about 50-60 protesters. Some of these protesters came from our community including Robert Birarelli a small business owner fed up with government abuses of taxation and waste.

The photos provided were also courtesy of Robert and depict some of these protesters with their hand made signs bearing their messages to Congress. For those who may have missed the televised tea Party in Washington D.C. it was the largest public event in recent memory with an estimated 1.7 Million attendees.


Another photo below is from the poster now for sale at online auctions and bears the entire brunt of the D.C. crowd. This protest was widely marginalized, under reported and dismissed with a cowardly bigoted homophobic statement comparing Tea Party Patriots to Homosexual "Tea Baggers."

Much to the chagrin of the powers to be the movement is huge, its real and it is not going away. This latest event in Connecticut is one of thousands that are going on all over America and is the "monkey on the back" of our congressional leaders.

Verizon Cell Tower Rejected By Milford Park Comission

The Park, Beach and Recreation Commission sent a strong, clear signal Wednesday night when it refused to allow a Verizon cell tower in Eisenower Park.

"Most people at our public hearing last month said that it shouldn't be at the YMCA, that Eisenhower Park would be a better site," chairman Dan Worroll said. "But there should have been a third choice -- no tower at all."

"I think it is about time that we put our foot down and say to people 'your voice matters,' " he said. "Enough is enough. I can't support any tower in Eisenhower Park. It is a park, not a commercial property."

Cellco Partners Inc., which does business as Verizon, had applied to the Connecticut Siting Council to erect a 120-foot tower on land behind the Woodruff Family YMCA on Orange Avenue. But the company voluntarily withdrew that application earlier this summer when homeowners in the neigborhood -- laced with farms, athletic fields and schools -- vigorously protested.

Residents of Flax Mill Terrace and other streets surrounding the 330-acre North Street park also protested when Eisenhower was offered as a compromise site. The park is bisected by 110-foot high voltage power lines that were approved by the siting council over the city's objections.

Commission members noted Wednesday night that the cell tower would be even taller than the poles carrying the power lines, and that the state does not permit cell towers on its property.

Although only a handful of residents attended the City Hall meeting, several reminded the commission that its function is to manage the public recreation facilities.

"Setting up the schedule of who can use the fields is one thing," Steve Borer said. "But this is something else. This is development and I don't want to see anything permanent in Eisenhower Park. People have been making that clear, but this administration has shown a total disregard."

Cellco Partners Inc. is considering alternate sites, including the Barretta Garden Center property across North Street from the park, company lawyer Ken Baldwin said earlier.

"But that doesn't mean that the Y is off the table," he said. "The plan would be that Verizon would reapply to the siting council with several possible sites, including the Y, Eisenhower Park and the Barretta Gardens Nursery for the council to evaluate."

Hal Turner, FBI Operative, Arrested In Hartford

FBI operative Hal Turner has been arrested for inciting violence, according to The Hartford Courant. Turner allegedly incited Catholics to “take up arms” and singling out two Connecticut lawmakers and a state ethics official. He was arrested by state Capitol police in Connecticut.
In 2008, Turner was exposed as an FBI operative.

Turner was charged in a warrant with inciting injury to persons or property and will be presented in a New Jersey courthouse today for extradition to Connecticut.

Remarks on Turner’s blog “were a reaction to the recent controversy over a bill that would have changed the way the Roman Catholic Church is governed, taking power away from church officials and turning it over to lay members. It was pulled in mid-March following an outcry from Catholics across the state and questions about its constitutionality,” according to the newspaper.

“It is our intent to foment direct action against these individuals personally. These beastly government officials should be made an example of as a warning to others in government: Obey the Constitution or die,” commentary on Turner’s blog stated. “If any state attorney, police department or court thinks they’re going to get uppity with us about this, I suspect we have enough bullets to put them down, too.”

Turner promised to publicize the home addresses of the Connecticut officials Wednesday night, but was taken into custody before that could happen.

Hal Turner is no stranger to controversy and has issued threats in the past.

In 2005, he publicized the names of three federal court judges. He posted the judges’ names and addresses on his Web site. “We may have to ASSASSINATE some of the people you elect on Nov. 7! This could be your LAST ELECTION CHANCE, to save this Republic… Sorry to have to be so blunt, but the country is in mortal danger from our present government and our liberty is already near dead because of this government. If you are too stupid to turn things around with your vote, there are people out here like me who are willing to turn things around with guns, force and violence. We hope our method does not become necessary,” Turner declared on the website.

On April 4, 2008, Turner encouraged violence against Lexington, Massachusetts school superintendent Paul Ash for establishing a new curriculum supporting gays and lesbians. “I advocate parents using FORCE AND VIOLENCE against Superintendent Paul B. Ash as a method of defending the health and safety of school children presently being endangered through his politically-correct indoctrination into deadly, disease-ridden sodomite lifestyles,” Turner wrote. He went on to provide Ash’s personal information, including his address.

Turner claims to be a white supremacist and nationalist. He advocates antisemitism, including rounding up and killing Jews. He has also advocated assaulting and killing African-Americans.

Hal Turner’s arrest feeds into the Department of Homeland Security’s effort to conflate Second Amendment advocates, “antigovernment” activists, and veterans with white supremacists. As Infowars reported today, the DHS and “terrorism experts” are attempting to portray those maligned by the DHS as dangerous terrorists in league with al-Qaeda and a demented Islamic “thinker” who has proposed launching an anthrax attack on the White House.

In 2008, Turner was exposed as an FBI operative. “Hal Turner, rising in fame as the most blatant hate talk radio host, self-proclaimed neo-nazi, antisemite, racist who hinted at the need to eradicate Jews — turns out to have been fronting a typical FBI COINTELPRO sting operation,” writes Richard Evans. Hackers managed to gain access to his forum server and revealed correspondence with an FBI agent who was apparently Turner’s handler.

The FBI is notorious for subsidizing, arming, directing and protecting the Klu Klux Klan and other so-called right-wing groups under COINTELPRO in the late 1960s and early 70s.

New Haven Tea Party Slows I95

The tea party held today, in New Haven CT slowed I95 to a crawl. At the event were all the major news stations, newspapers and yes of course over 1,000 disgruntled angry citizens fed up with excessive taxation, bank bailouts and the government practice of indebting the public.

The photo below is just a small section of the 1/4 mile strip of people who parked as far as IKEA to get to the event. The signs people were holding tell the-now common theme of taxation anxiety. Not too many people showed up to support the 3.6 trillion dollar Obama Budget, actually it was quite to the contrary every person I asked about the Obama budget was not only against it, but angry that our President would even suggest such a reckless irresponsible spending package. Many were also upset with the Tax cheats holding high office (I.e. Geitner) in the Obama administration, the AIG bailouts and also our incumbent senator Chris Dodd who will be most likely seeking a new job come next election.

The event was an amazing outpouring of people from all walks of life. The April 15th tax day protest was entirely organized by grass roots individuals through our entire country, and there were three major events held in Connecticut today, and several smaller events reported in Wilton and Greenwich. The other two larger events were held in Hartford, and New London and were equally well attended. The people have certainly spoken, and now it is up to our elected leaders to heed the call and demands of the people who elected them.

Tax Day Tea Party Coming To Connecticut

The kettle is brewing and about to boil over this April 15Th at a city near Milford. Years of taxation without representation, excessive wasteful spending, looting of our treasury and runaway debt on the backs of countless future generations of children are what is on the hearts and minds of the American people.

Congress and its 9% approval rating, both our state Senators Dodd and Lieberman now publicly despised for their party betrayal and cronyism to banks and the war agenda's are seeing their campaigns in trouble next election cycle.

This WEBSITE (CLICK THE LINK) has at least three tea parties going on in our state. These tea parties are part of a grass roots movement comprised of not one single leader but many brave citizens who are angry and wish to organize their local communities to exercise their First Amendment rights. They ask for our leaders to redress their grievances, and hold accountable those responsible for the tax and debt malfeasance that is undermining America and its ability to prosper and recover from the current Recession and widespread unemployment.

Anyone who wishes to show these organizations their support should visit the link listed above and participate in what is a PEACEFUL NON-VIOLENT PROTEST, this is how a successful protest works and all those wishing to participate should express their views with with signs, handouts, a megaphone or something that does not result in injury to another individual.

Protestors, More Irate Than Usual

The economic downturn and pandemic corruption throughout Connecticut is causing a stir around the state this month. In the last few weeks several protests have taken place at the State Capitol in Hartford.

The most recent protests include the Acorn protest over the foreclosure of properties belonging to the elderly, veterans, and our states poor and unemployed. A nursing protest took place over the states budget cutbacks and the church led an angry mob to Hartford protesting the latest news of a bill that would strip churches of its financial authority, a measure they call revenge for their position opposing gay marriage in CT.

Locally in Milford our school media aides led a protest over the budgetary decision to eliminate several of their jobs, and parents, teachers and taxpayers have been in constant conflict over the ever-increasing school budget.

Meanwhile disenfranchised voters and progressive thinkers have formed a third party in Milford that has drawn thirty plus individuals from both parties (and all walks of life.) This party has threatened the local balance of power enjoyed by Republicans and Democrats and will yield an impressive status of deciding which party wins an election. Independent Conservative candidates could potentially sink Republican races, and Independent Liberal candidates could also sink Democratic races.


Many citizens are coming to an epiphany, finding the economic climate, and its effects on government enlightening and humbling as more and more people begin to realize how much we depend on the government for just about everything. The largest employer in Milford is the city itself, and the state of Connecticut and the Federal Government also fear that despite the economic downturn layoffs of government jobs will accelerate the economic downturn and stir more social unrest.

Many economic experts have predicted a "summer of rage" in America and as it stands Connecticut is off to a good start. But to cap this story off with something to be proud of, Connecticut is ranked highest in the nation as a provider to the poor and homeless, this record is largely thanks to the states churches (under attack) and the associated state grants rendered to them.

McSame And Obama Nation Some Would Rather Not Vote

Over the last six months it was pretty difficult to not hear the names of our Presidential candidates over and over again, and now with the Presidential primaries expected to launch that reality will be even more hard to ignore.

One thing I did learn on my endeavors in the past few months is the growing concern coming from a significant group who claims not to like either candidate. Today's post is to remind everyone out there that the television and corporate press does not have to rob you of your vote.

There is a big secret, a secret that both major parties are not happy about and that is there are other candidates in the running besides Obama and McCain, so if you do not like them you could perhaps vote for someone else?! The overwhelming response I get when I mention this radical idea of a third party is laughter and the snickering reply that third parties are not real candidates. Pehaps if they were the television would be all over it because lord only knows they would be going "Anna Nicole Smith" on a president that launched an illegal war, why we have a massive naval buildup in the Persian Gulf, and airing executives facing criminal racketeering by the hundreds in the wake of all these bank failures.

My point, is that the television is not your mind, it is not what is best for America, and it certainly ought not affect your opinion about who you believe is best for America. Below are the alternate Presidential Choices and their Ads. The Ads that you will probably never see. My point today, if you do not like McSame, or ObamaNation than come vote anyway and give one of these longshots a voice in 2012. If they score 10% they will be included in the debates next election.

Kids Protest War On Town Green.

Last Night my wonderful stepdaughter and her loyal friend were both dressed up in some colorful clothes. Those of the 1960's know this colorful style as the popular "tie die" a name that bears the "undying" trend that is still envogue to this day.

During our Sunday family dinner tradition I commented to the kids, across from me at the dinner table, that the clothes they were wearing reminded me of the anti-war demonstrations so common during the "hippie" era of the 1960's.

At this point my brilliant step daughter had an idea, "can you take me and my friend to the ComputerFox with you so we can make some protest signs?" I was a bit taken, and impressed that these kids had an opinion about the war and wanted to make a difference. Of course, after setting the terms of adult supervision we made way for the ComputerFox and then the town green.

The spot they picked was perfect, right below an illuminated American flag by the town fountain. The sign they are holding in the photo reads "honk for peace" and after 50 honks and much positive feed back we called it a night. Only one person in a white car made a rather negative and inappropriate remark. The girls were not dissuaded by it, they only got more energized as to their convictions.

Despite all public opinions, It was a great pleasure seeing their good idea and selfless pride culminate into such positive energy. If only more kids had this kind of motivation, our national leaders may listen.

At nights end, both these young ladies were rewarded for their brave act of citizenship with a couple of large cups of hot chocolate.

Toxic Toy Rally In Milford Today

A group of protesters, accompanied by Mayor Jim Richetelli met at the gazebo on the green today to protest toxic toys in Connecticut. The purpose and scope of the local rally was to force Ct's legislators to pass a law protecting children from these harmful toys.

To get noticed the local protesters used a giant inflatable "Rubber Ducky" to get the attention of the people passing by. Local news stations attended including channel 12 who is airing a segment on the days events. Local papers will also carry the story.

These toys, according to a previous inquiry by Sen. Chris Dodd called for tough federal sanctions against Chinese manufactures who were responsible for using unsafe chemicals such as lead paint, and other hazardous materials. Laborers' Local 665 Takes Issue With Turner Construction

At about 8:00 A.M. this morning a bus and a contingent of about 100 union workers arrived at the Turner Construction Milford H.Q. on Wheelers farms road. The peaceful protest took place on the sidewalk adjacent to the street as indicated in the photo.

I asked Joseph Ambrosini what the nature of the protest was, and he was kind enough to have his associate provide me with a document titled the "Turner Construction Campaign Fact Sheet" dated 2/2/08. According to that fact sheet, one of the issues the Laborers' Local has with Turner Construction is its policies. To quote the document verbatim it states: "Unfortunately, Turner Construction has consistently been hiring construction sub-contractors which have hired undocumented workers, failed to pay the state of Connecticut for workman compensation dues, failed to follow and pay prevailing wage standards along with other various policies that are bad for Connecticut taxpayers and threaten the safety of projects throughout the state."

Another reason for their "open air" protest was to engage in a "public advocacy" and awareness campaign to inform businesses, the public, political and community leaders as to the alleged undocumented worker problems sanctioned by Turner Construction. At the time of my arrival between 8:30 and 11:30 it appeared that no other local public persons expressed any interest or participation, besides myself.

To get both sides of this story, I contacted the Milford Turner Construction office for comment, I spoke to the receptionist who answered the phone who had no comment other than to refer me to Chris McFadden at their N.Y. office. I contacted Chris for his comments on these labor issues he did eventually return my call at about 1:00 P.M. today in response to the allegations made against them.

McFadden started off by stating that "Turner complies with all laws pertaining to labor, state and federal taxation. He acknowledges that there has been an ongoing issue between Turner and its unions since January of this year citing previous state inquiries. Turner indicated that the dispute was likely due to the fact that a "Collective Bargaining Agreement" has not been signed and this was likely upsetting the union workers."

Mcfadden also said "that on every work site 90% of all workers are union members except in cases where they are acting as a consultant for their clients who often want to use their own sub-contractors for projects. Turner indicated that they have a strict policy of compliance and whenever they discover violations by their subcontractors they immediately demand they become compliant with all laws and company policies. However, he also mentioned that Turner cannot police every subcontractor as effectively as they would like. In such cases they rely on the advice and reports of other union workers who are free to contact their H.Q. with any job site concerns. In summary McFadden is of the opinion that Turner construction has done everything in its power to comply with the stated issues and concerns of their unions."

As a special note I would like to add that the people who attended the protest were receptive, very kind, knew the prevailing issues really well and spoke with humble concern and sadness for the middle class in America. They also provided an atmosphere likened to kindred family unity in support of one another. I thank all those there this morning for their hospitality, and offerings and wish them the best of luck in resolving their differences with Turner.

Moveon.org Addresses Rosa Delauro

Last Tuesday I received an E-Mail calling for an antiwar rally hosted by Moveon.org. The rally was to be held today in New Haven and directed at Rosa Delauro. There have been few details sent to me thus far about our Congresswoman's response to the rally, however I do plan on doing a follow up ASAP. (My immediate thought is that todays snow storm changed things.)

The nature of this Rally is to stop Pres. Bush from possibly invading Iran to save face in light of the intelligence report that indicates he has known Iran not to be a threat for nearly six months now. If these intelligence reports are in fact the gauge of accuracy we must remember the last intelligence fiasco in Iraq involving bogus threat assessment reports.

While peace is good, and most Americans want peace, we quite strangely ignore the only Presidential candidate who has a solid peace voting record and peace platform (Ron Paul). Instead, CFR'S and hawks like Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton seem to be getting all the voter support, money and attention.

Pardon me, if I offend anyone by saying that the less than reputable intelligence community has marred my and Mr. Bushes view on whether or not to believe any report/s. While no one wants a madman running loose with an atom bomb in the world, let alone America, I can certainly say that this is not one of those things that America can afford to screw up.

For now, I advocate peace with strong border protections and an awesome and unforgettable retaliatory response to any nation that dare tread on us. As for Iran I believe Russia, China, Israel and all its neighbors need to step up to the plate and defend their sovereignty against any would be aggressors or mad men.

Hopefully Rosa Delauro agrees with the Moveon.org crowd and takes any threats to the U.S. before congress (not Bush), so Americans can decide threats as a country for a change.
