Heat Waves Drive Up Cost Of Water

Aquarion Water Company, the supplier for Milford and its surrounding towns is warning that the heat wave affecting our area is creating a surge in water usage. The surge broke all recent records when the outflow meter topped 120 million gallons in just one day.

Aquarion said that the system is being tested to new levels and reports of brown water have surfaced. Some concerned over the "muddy water" feared they were getting the bottom scum of an empty reservoir, however this according Aquarion is not the case. Aquarion said that all drinking water fills very large tanks at night but excessive use is not allowing the tanks to fill completely adding a strain on those water users south of Milford.

The people who live south of Milford have pipes that reduce in size therefore the more water we use the less water is available to those in Fairfield county. The water company is advising that residents with odd street Numbers water their lawns on odd days, those with even numbered homes should water their lawns on even numbered days.

The national weather service has indicated that the record breaking triple digit heat wave is expected to continue for a few more days. Thereafter thunderstorms will arrive and with it some slightly cooler temperatures.

Should the heatwave continue unabated inducing an added strain on our water delivery system Aquarion said they will "dramatically increase the cost of water" to force conservation.

Tornado Warning Issued For Milford Area

The Connecticut Post has just issued a tornado warning for our area. The warning quoted, "has been issued for Northern New Haven County and Middlesex County until 4:30 p.m. Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Naugatuck."

Tornado warnings are a reality in this area, although none have caused any serious problems the video below captures a tornado that touched down in the Long Island Sound off the Milford coast line.

Baxter Pharmaceutical Claimed they accidently released live H5N1 bird flu in human Flu vaccines. This error, criticized as impossible by world medical experts, is now a serious and grave risk to people everywhere.

The virus was introduced in a manner that renders it capabable of not only infecting people, but potentially mutating into an airborne form that can be transmitted to others the same way the seasonal flu does.

This error was discovered by a Baxter subcontractor who conducted tests of the vaccine on live animals who all died. After this discovery he notified his superiors, who discovered the live H5N1 virus in the vaccine. The story then made it to the highest levels of the pharmaceudical industry, and eventually made the press.

As a final note it is also important to mention that Baxter manufactures the Bird Flu Vaccine (Celvapan), a worldwide outbreak, of the Avian Flu would translate to Billions of dollars in profit for the Baxter Corp.

Coyote Seen in Eisenhower Park Today

Today while exiting Eisenhower Park I spotted what looked like a coyote. The animal looked exacly as the one in the picture. The time was roughly around 1:00 P.M. and the animal appeared to skulk in the shadows of the forest tundra. In the event someone else has an encounter this post is intendeed to alert todays readers of their presence and to follow the following precautions.

To prevent coyotes from becoming further habituated to humans and human occupied areas please follow these tips:

1. Never feed coyotes intentionally or unintentionally. Be aware of possible sources of food in your yard.

2. Do not leave uneaten pet food outside.

3. Do not discard edible garbage where coyotes can get into it.

4. Secure garbage containers and eliminate their odors. Use a small amount of ammonia or cayenne pepper in the garbage to discourage scavenging.

5. Restrict use of birdseed. Coyotes are attracted to seed, and to the birds and rodents that use the feeder.

6. Wherever possible, eliminate outdoor sources of water. Be aware that coyotes will prey on coy fish if the fish do not have proper cover or a deep enough pond.

7. Trim and clear ground level shrubs that can provide cover for coyotes.

8. Use fencing to help deter coyotes. The fence must be at least six feet tall with the bottom extending at least six inches below ground level.

9. Actively discourage coyotes by making loud noises. Motion detector lights and alarm systems can also help from keeping coyotes out of your yard.

10. Pick fruit as soon as it ripens and keep rotted fruit off the ground.

11. Scattered mothballs and ammonia-soaked rags strategically placed may deter coyotes from entering your yard.

12. Keep cats and small dogs indoors, allowing them outside only under strict supervision.

13. Keep chickens, rabbits and other small animals in well-protected areas and in sturdy cages at night. Cages made of chicken wire are meant only for keeping small animals contained, not to keep coyotes out!

14. Coyotes are attracted to, and can mate with unspayed or unneutered domestic dogs. Unspayed female dogs in season will attract male coyotes, and unneutered male dogs can be lured away by the scent of a female coyote. There have been cases of male dogs being lured by the female coyote's scent and then killed by male coyotes.

15. If you do not mind sharing your space with coyotes, enjoy observing them with binoculars when they visit.

Coyotes are shy and a lot of patience is required to observe them. Coyotes will appear most often during the hours close to sunrise and sunset. In urban areas, coyotes may be a little bit bolder. Do not attempt to approach a coyote. It will most likely run away, but any cornered or frightened wild animal can be dangerous. Most importantly enjoy the brief and fortunate opportunity to observe one of the wild kingdom’s most amazing creatures. We all have something to learn form the coyote’s adaptable and undefeatable nature.

Video Of Tornado In Milford

The following video is of what appears to be a tornado touching down in Milford CT. These videos were shot by Joe and I, Joe is an employee of the ComputerFox in Milford, CT. The idea to go storm chasing came about when we all began to recieve telephone calls of erratic weather in the area. News even emerged that a tornado was in Milford or had touched down in surrounding areas near Milford.

Since a tornado in Connecticut is about as rare as a snowfall in Florida Joe and I decided to have fun and go storm chasing. We can now bring you the only footage of its kind depicting this weather anomaly.

The video below was truly more than we expected to capture, but one thing to mention is that what we left out was two large downed trees (See Photo) and quite a bit of flooding and emergency calls to the fire departments. Please pardon the quality as the video and photos were shot using Motorola Razr telephones.

Survey Proves Milford Opposes NAFTA And Globalism.

Just yesterday I took to the streets and was discussing local and national issues in town with small business owners on New Haven Ave. What I discovered is that many local residents, are not registered to vote, find the system a farce and refuse to vote and without a doubt are disappointed with America.

Some workers at local businesses indicated that they were all for uniting America under the principles and laws established by the Founding Father's and the U.S. Constitution, even Senator Dodd is quoted as promising his angry constituents that we will "get our Constitution back."

Today it was announced that all three presidential candidates, (all with treasonous voting records supporting NAFTA, GAFTA, the UN and and like globalist powerhouses) are members of the Council Of Foreign Relations. This body was established by the same group of wealthy globalists who established the United Nations.

The push to dismantle American sovereignty is now underway with lie after lie in the presidential arena, and as it stands no one is discussing the treasonous voting record of all three candidates who have been steadily marching America and our future prosperity off a cliff.

This blog today is to remind every reader to know and understand that Americans stand for America, not submission and induction to a world government who will regulate how we live based on the fear of Global Warming and Terrorism; each highly suspect and severely under fire. A growing movement now exists exposing 9/11 as an inside job. The loudest voice being, Former Gov. Jesse Ventura, President Jimmy Carter, Willie Nelson, Charlie Sheen, Former Italian Prime Minister Marconi, U.S. Army Major General Stubblebein and countless others.

Milford and the majority of its residents, in my direct surveys, direct communications, and personal experiences have unilaterally denounced globalism and a surrender of our country to a world government. An online poll indicated that a majority of Americans now believe that America is governed by an Oligarchy and because of the continual injury and injustice served to the public from one elected liar to the next, Americans vote with little to no confidence as to whether or not their choice of a candidate will be any better than the previous ones.

This mix of political malaise combined with public anger is leading to a nightmare at the Democratic National convention in Colorado. Popular talk show host Rush Limbaugh has used his website to advocate violence and riots during the Colorado event. Radi host Alex Jones has also had numerous guests warn about the potential for violence including one group who indicated they will do something too grotesque and infuriating to mention. The groups expected to protest in favor of the American Constitution, are: We Are Change, Code Pink, Recreate 68, MoveOn.com, Young Republicans and Democrats and countless other, antiwar, conspiracy theorists, and militia groups.

The local police departments are expected to amass the largest police force ever assembled at this convention to quell any and all potential violence.

Credit Card Debt Soars to One Trillion!

Some time ago I warned that the faltering subprime credit mess would put pressure on consumers to turn to their credit cards for money. The start of 2008 is showing just that, many American's have now "balooned" their credit card debt to a record one trillion dollars.

This is an enormous problem as our entire economy is built on a system of credit. Debt is what makes it possible to own a home, buy a car, build a business and believe it or not retire. But why does a person need credit to retire? The answer is that inflation, low Social Security payments, and stock market madness has led to a revolution in "Reverse Mortgage" retirement. This allows an elderly person to sell their home to the bank before they pass on.

Identity theft has compounded this debt problem, and resulted in a decrease in FICO Scores. The signs of contracting credit is placing a burden on all areas of the American Economy. Banks afraid of more defaults are eliminating subprime lending, creating superfunds to absorb losses and even borrowing from overseas investors.

Today Gold hit $900.00 per ounce, this is an indication that world markets are becoming increasingly pessimistic about the U.S., and possibly the Global Economy. The real challenge will emerge when the new bankruptcy law is imposed against Americans who believe that going broke is an option as if like it was for our parents. This may not be the case anymore, because the level of difficulty in having your debt pardoned, and being granted a fresh start is not what it used to be.

Bailing on your debt has more in common with trying to bail on child support today. Although there is no "official" debtors prison we do have "contempt of court" of which is the same thing. For now America's future economic fate is no longer in Americas hands. We have something called a "Dollar Peg" that is in the hands of foreign nations who are mired with troubled dollars they no longer want.

Many nations are already distancing themselves from the U.S. currency, while Americas leaders continue to ignore all the warning signs even those from Americas chief accountant David Walker who has gone public on the debt and credit fiasco undermining our national sovereignty.
